Job description:
The job includes both Project Manager responsabilities and Software Architect
responsabilities. My activity includes technical supervising of the
development of the software solutions.
As Software Architect, I designed the arhitecture of a software system
dedicated to the Public Administration (entitled “GoPrim”), which includes 10
applications and allows distributed concurent access from a whole Romanian
County.
The software solutions were especially designed to support large ammounts of
conncurent users.
Each software solution includes integration with workflow management and
document management. Depending on the client/target of implementation (County
Level or Townhall Level), the workflow management can be switched between
GoPro.net and CaseMAN (internally built workflow management server), while
the document management can be switched between GoPro.net and Mic rosoft
SharePoint.
The solution design is based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA). All
software components are modular. Main software modules are connected through
web services.
The design includes a Security Module (SecuriX Server) which provides
security management for all the applications in the software system and is
accessed using web service technology, and a Reporting Module (ReportX
Server) which is also accesible through a web service and requests data from
each application’s web service and is configurable to control and prevent
processing overload on the data center.
All the components of the software system were designed as a Case-Based Applications
and are compliant with the specifications of SaaS (Software As A Service).
Some applications include a flexible system for configuring (and customizing)
the application’s business logic according to the changes in the Law from the
interface.
